North Island Fencing Champs 2014
It is Fencing North’s pleasure to host the 2014 North Island Fencing Championship. This is the first national open event of the year and a very important competition for fencers aiming at selection for this year’s Commonwealth Games. As always we will endeavour to make this one of the best events of the year. Happy fencing!
Date: Saturday 31st May - Sunday 1st June
Venue: Jack Adam Gym, Massey High School, 274 Don Buck Rd, Massey West, Auckland
Entry Fee: $50 first weapon, $20 additional weapons

Entry fees can be paid on arrival, or by bank transfer - please select this when entering if this option is preferable. If you are paying by internet banking, our account # is 01-0297-0024774-00. Fencers must be correctly affiliated through their region and Fencing NZ. An affiliation check will occur on the 26th May. Any questions about affiliation, contact your regional fencing organisation.
Weapons: Foil, Epee, and Sabre
Format: Poules then elimination round

Registration cut off will be 5mins after the registration times. Event start times are expected to be 15mins after registration time.
*Sabre start time is subject to competitors involved in earlier events having finished. Sabre will be run mixed if there are insufficient numbers for separate events.
Weapons Check: Weapons control will be open at 8am Saturday and Sunday (people will be available to check gear all day), and also from 7.00pm – 8.30pm on Friday night.

Fenton Epee is being run by Auckland University Fencing Club next weekend (12th April).
