The International Fencing Federation (FIE), at their congress in Rome, has announced host cities for World Championships. 

 

This year several Kiwi fencers represented New Zealand at World Champs in Kazan (Russia), Junior and Cadet World Champs in Plodiv (Bulgaria) and Veteran World Champs in Debrecen (Hungary), and had a fantastic time. 

 

World Championships:

2015: Moscow, Russia

2016: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (same facilities as the 2016 Olympic Games)

2017: Leipzig, Germany

 

Junior and Cadet World Championships:

2015: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

2016: Bourges, France

 

Veteran World Championships:

2015: Limoges, France 

2016: Stralsund, Germany

2017: Maribor, Slovenia
